Mel's Flowers Refund and Return Policy

 

This policy applies to all fresh floral products, plants, and non-perishable gifts purchased from Mel's Flowers.

 

1. Fresh Flower Guarantee

 

We pride ourselves on the freshness and quality of our products. We guarantee that your fresh floral arrangement will stay beautiful and vibrant for 48 hours following delivery, provided the care instructions included with the delivery are followed.

  • If your flowers wilt or perish completely within this 48-hour window, please contact us immediately.

 

2. Returns and Refunds for Fresh Flowers (Perishable Items)

 

Given the perishable nature of fresh flowers, we do not accept returns in the traditional sense. However, if you are dissatisfied with the quality or condition upon receipt, we offer the following:

  • Eligibility for a Refund/Replacement: You must contact us within 24 hours of receiving your delivery if you find the product to be damaged, incorrect, or of poor quality.

  • Required Proof: To process a refund or replacement, you must provide a photograph of the arrangement clearly showing the issue.

  • Resolution: Upon review, we will offer one of the following resolutions at our discretion:

    • Full Replacement of the arrangement with a comparable product.

    • Store Credit for the amount of the purchase.

    • Full or Partial Refund back to your original payment method.

We cannot guarantee or process refunds/replacements for issues reported after 24 hours of delivery or if the included flower care instructions were not followed.

 

3. Returns and Refunds for Non-Perishable Items (e.g., Vases, Gifts)

 

Returns are accepted for non-perishable items only (e.g., vases, candles, non-perishable gift items).

  • Timeframe: You have 14 days from the delivery date to initiate a return.

  • Condition: The item must be unused, in the same condition that you received it, and in its original packaging.

  • Process: Please contact us at admin@melsflowers.ca to request a return authorization. You will be responsible for paying your own shipping costs for returning your item.

 

4. Order Cancellations

 

  • Standard Orders: You may cancel a standard flower order up to 24 hours before the scheduled delivery date for a full refund.

  • Wedding/Event Orders: Cancellation for large-scale events is governed by the specific terms outlined in your floral contract.
